The challenges posed by climate change in the Western Balkans region have recently intensified, including increasing frequency of cloudburst events and hot summers. We are carrying out related studies within the framework of the project ” Adaptation to climate change: planning and modelling tasks in a vulnerable city to support the prevention of damage caused by cloudburst “, which focuses on Vinica, a North Macedonian municipality. Within the framework of the project, we will provide the city and infrastructure managers with an interdisciplinary overview and capacity-building program aimed at assisting investment projects that support the more advanced operational and planning goals of urban.
